Function Description

The RD_L232 radar sensor measures the speed of objects and switches a relay when the adjusted speed value is exceeded.

The detectors are mounted beside or above the road. The sensitivity can be adjusted. A distance range of approx. 100 m can be realised.

The standard version has a serial RS232 interface. Optionally available is a version with Hex-switches for parameterising.

The detection direction (arriving, leaving or bi-directional), the relay hold time and the relay function "fail-safe" can be adjusted.

A floating relay contact is provided as switching output. The standard impulse length is 1 sec.

The high protection class (IP66) and the wide range of working temperature allow the outside use
of the device.
