The ComPanel assumes the power supply and the overvoltage protection for the connected video system and supplies the necessary interfaces such as service port, interface for input/output assemblies, analog video output and RS485 inter-face for the configuration of the data transmission network. External power supply units and modems are economised. By using the ComPanels, the configuration of a data bus is made easy. The signals for the data transmission are potentially seperated in each ComPanel and newly reinforced. The maximum data transmission rate is 230 Kbaud. If several video systems are connected to one nodal point, the fourfold ComPanel VI_COM_4 can be used.
