WEISS-ELECTRONIC GmbH informs
On 1 March 2009 the reorganisation of the M.TECH AG in Germany with the companies
SIGNALBAU HUBER, DAMBACH-WERKE, WEISS-ELECTRONIC and M-UNICOMP
has entered the implementation phase.
SWARCO AG now holds a share of approx. 90% in M.TECH AG based in Unterensingen.
The new organisation implies the assignment of competences and tasks to 3 core companies:

- Signalbau Huber GmbH – A Company of the SWARCO Group:
Sales, Project business and Service for Germany in all traffic-related fields
(B2C business); |

- Dambach-Werke GmbH - – A Company of the SWARCO Group:
Production, Research and Development (B2B business national and
international) as well as B2C supplier for static traffic signs and Dambach
Corporate Design solutions); |
| |
- SWARCO Shared Service GmbH:
Provider of internal services in Germany for Signalbau Huber and Dambach. |
Within the framework of the new organisation, the tasks and competences of Weiss-Electronic
are integrated in both the new Dambach and the new Signalbau Huber.
Weiss-Electronic GmbH with its product and component business will be integrated into the
new Dambach-Werke GmbH, where all production and R&D competences are concentrated. Dambach addresses the B2B customers in Germany and international markets.
Weiss-Electronic’s project and system business will be integrated into the German sales
and project organisation of new Signalbau Huber GmbH (B2C business).
Weiss-Electronic’s sales and development team will nevertheless stay in Trier.
Trier as a location of Dambach-Werke GmbH will become the new
development competence center for detection technology.
